My journey with photography started unexpectedly. I wasn't always the one with a camera, but my fascination with capturing life's fleeting moments grew over time. It all began when I received my first camera as a gift, a small point-and-shoot that I took everywhere, from weekend trips to spontaneous adventures.
In 2013, I got my hands on a vintage film camera at a thrift shop, and that was the turning point. The tactile experience of loading film, the anticipation of developing photos, and the raw, unfiltered beauty of those images ignited a deep passion in me. That camera accompanied me on countless journeys—from the misty coastlines of Vancouver to the bustling streets of far-off cities.
After years of experimenting and honing my skills, I took the plunge and attended a photography workshop that changed everything. The thrill of capturing a moment in its purest form, the connection I felt with my subjects, and the magic of storytelling through images—it all clicked. I knew I had found my calling.
Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to capturing love, life, and the authentic beauty of every moment. It's more than just a job; it's a privilege to be trusted with your most precious memories. Though I experienced a profound loss in 2021 when my grandmother, who was my mentor and biggest cheerleader, passed away, her wisdom, love, and unwavering belief in me continue to drive my desire to create beautiful, lasting memories for others.
